The renovation and redevelopment of the existing First Baptist Church of Scottsdale campus create a friendly and inviting environment. Existing facilities were improved, while older, out-of-date buildings were replaced with larger ones to better accommodate the programmatic needs of the church. The long-range plan replaces all existing buildings with the exception of the sanctuary and chapel. Phase 1 improved the existing facilities by remodeling the existing worship center, adding a new adult classroom and rehearsal area. A new 2,217 SF café, along the campus edge, provides a comfortable “third place” while connecting the church to its surrounding community.
